Somente ele é qualificado para revelar a natureza “ do Deus invisível .” Nele, todas as promessas de Deus encontram sua substância. Jesus is the Key

Image
Jesus is the key that unlocks the Hebrew Scriptures and reveals the nature and redemptive purposes of the God of Israel . Jesus unveils the knowledge and plans of God, and he is the center of his Father’s purposes for the redemption of humanity. He is  the key  that opens our understanding of the Hebrew Scriptures, and only Christ is qualified to explain and demonstrate the Divine Nature. In Jesus of Nazareth, all the promises of God find their “Y ea and Amen! ”

Jesus is Life and Truth

Image
God reveals His nature, unlocks Scripture, and gives eternal life to men and women through His Son, Jesus of Nazareth . Jesus reveals the nature of God. The man from Nazareth embodies the heart and goal of his Father’s creative and redemptive efforts. He is the only One in whom the glory of the Creator is unveiled, and he alone is qualified to interpret His Father. In Christ, all the promises of God for His children find their significance and fulfillment. The Crucified Messiah is the only source of life and eternal truth.

Seeing the Unseen God

Image
The fullness, grace, and truth of God are found in the Word made Flesh, Jesus of Nazareth, who alone has seen the unseen God  – John 1:14-18. The Prologue to the  Gospel of John  introduces key themes of the Book, including  Life ,  Light ,  Witness ,  Truth ,  Glory , and  Grace .  Jesus of Nazareth is the Light of the world, the source of Grace and Truth, the True Tabernacle in whom God dwells, the only born Son of God, and the only one who has seen the Father. The Prologue concludes by declaring that the Son is the only one qualified to interpret God since he alone has seen the  Unseen God .

Jesus Interprets

Image
Jesus, the Word made flesh, is the interpretive key that opens the Hebrew Scriptures and reveals the Father .  Jesus of Nazareth is the one who reveals the purposes and fulfills the mysteries of God. Only he is qualified to “ interpret ” the “ unseen God .” In him alone, all the promises of God find their “ Yea ” and “ Amen .” He is the key that unlocks the Hebrew Scriptures and fulfills the words of the prophets. This principle is presented in the opening paragraph of Letter to the Hebrews and pictorially in the  Book of Revelation .

The Living Word

Image
Jesus is the Word made flesh through whom the glory of God is revealed, the same Word by which God created all things . The  Gospel of John  identifies Jesus as the ‘ Logos ’, the “ Word ” through which God made the Universe. This theme is prominent in the Gospel of John . It builds on traditional ideas from the Hebrew Bible about how God created the world, especially life through His spoken Word. Jesus of Nazareth is the Living Expression of that creative word.

Decoding Scripture and Mysteries

Only he is qualified to reveal the nature of the “ unseen God .” In him, all the promises of God find their substance. New Testament Language

What was the original language of the documents that became the New Testament? For centuries, the scholarly consensus has been that it was written in the  Koiné  Greek dialect of the Eastern Roman Empire in the first century. However, there is a growing minority within the church that claims the New Testament was composed in the Hebrew or Aramaic language.

Provided Interpretations

Image
The  Book of Revelation  communicates symbolically, and it  provides several interpretations of its images. For example, it states that the “ Seven Golden Lampstands ” represent seven congregations. Likewise, the “ Seven Stars ” held by the “ one like a Son of Man ” symbolize angels or “ Seven Messengers .” Pictures of the smoke of “ incense ” rising to heaven represent the “ prayers of the saints .” And so on.

Literal vs Nonliteral

Image
The Book of Revelation informs the reader from the start that it communicates visually and symbolically . Must prophecy be interpreted only or primarily in the most “literal” fashion possible unless a passage specifically indicates otherwise? Often in our minds, there is an unstated assumption that literal language is more reliable than nonliteral language, an idea that becomes especially problematic when interpreting the visions of  Revelation .
